The heating cable CANNOT be cut.

A Heat Loss calculation is always recommended to determine whether the system can be used as a primary heat source.

We recommend that you double check and ensure that the correct size of cable will be used for your area.

The Klima decoupling membrane comes with the relevant decoupling membrane sheet depending on the size of area and with the set heating cable size for your area.

With this you are also supplied a 2.5 meter Black hollow conduit pipe and installation instructions.

Specification for Klima Underfloor Heating decoupling membrane

• Always ensure that a stable subfloor with no movement in it is used
• Measure the area you want to install the Klima decoupling membrane in, you must maintain a MINIMUM gap of 50mm from walls and fixed furniture. DO NOT INSTALL UNDERNEATH ANY FIXED FURNITURE
• Apply a thin layer of tile adhesive between 0.4cm to 0.6cm thick
• Place down the decoupling membrane system onto the subfloor and push gentle so it sticks to the Decoupling membrane to the subfloor
• Before placing the cable into the decoupling membrane , decide what wattage you want the system to put out as this will then dictate the cable spacing.
• Once the cables have been pushed into the decoupling membrane at the desired spacing, cover the cables with a self levelling compound and then then a  4-6mm bed of flexible tile adhesive and lay tiles
