Castellated underfloor insulation panels are designed to simplify the procedure of preparing the floor for laying heating pipes, reducing installation time with the profile panel assisting in quick and easy positioning of pipes. The sub-floor is laid with rigid thermal insulation boards which reduce downward heat losses and provide a base on which to fix the underfloor heating tube. The castellated panels are laid over the thermal insulation and the pipe is clipped into the panels.

  • Simplify the procedure of preparing the floor for laying heating pipes
  • Reduce installation time
  • Quick and easy positioning of pipes

Technical Details

    • Castellation on castellation joining means that there is practically no waste

    • The castellations ensure that the heating tubes are kept securely in place

    • One board for several pipe dimensions

    • The special castellation design enables flexible use for 14 to 16mm heating pipes

    • Manufactured using the Combitop deep-drawing process

The castellated underfloor insulation panels are a thermoformed high-impact EPS with a polystyrene film bonded to its upper face that protects the board from mechanical damage during its installation and acts as a vapour barrier.
Castellated board is designed to simplify the procedure of preparing the floor for laying heating pipes reducing installation time with the profile panel assisting in quick and easy positioning of pipes with no further fixings required. The board’s interlocking profile eliminates cold bridging whilst its integral moulded skin acts as a vapour barrier eliminating the necessity to lay and tape polythene sheets.

The Slimfit System is a 12mm low profile solution for installing wet underfloor heating directly beneath tiles; Packs provided in 2.4m2 sizes..

The Klima Slimfit Water Underfloor heating system is ideal for upper floor areas, renovations or extensions. The system has an installation height from just 12 mm meaning the Klima Slimfit is one of the thinnest systems of its kind. Slimfit is suitable for use as both wall and floor heating. When using in the floor the system is covered by a 15mm self-levelling compound which allows a variety of floor finishes to be installed above.

This system consists of plastic mats (tiles), which are simply snapped together. Each pack covers a 2.4sqm area and can The Klima10 mm PERT underfloor heating pipe is simply clicked into position in the pre-set grooves in the mat. The SlimFit system is specially designed for installations with a 10 mm tube. The open structure of the tiles ensures perfect adhesion of the self-levelling compound over and to adhesion to the subfloor below.

The Klima Slim Fit system is designed for the 10 mm PERT pipe which is manufactured by U Tube systems in the Netherlands and comes standard with a 50 year pipe guarantee.Length x width - 60 x 80 cm

Tacker Insulation Plates; an underfloor heating system in which the heating pipes are held in place by means of tacker staples. This is a system commonly used to install underfloor heating on large surfaces, but can also perfectly be used for smaller surfaces. The corresponding tacker stapling device must be used to apply the Tacker staples. In average 3 staples are used per one metre of pipe. You can also choose to place fixing rails on top of the insulation and simply fix the heating pipes in the rails.

  • Heating pipes are held in place by means of Tacker staples or fixing rails
  • Easily install underfloor heating on large surfaces
  • Available with 20mm or 30mm EPS insulation
